Generative engine optimization: be the answer AI search quotes.

Generative engine optimization (GEO) is the work of making your pages the source that Google AI Overviews and other AI answers draw on. Vannor's agents write every article answer-first, check its facts, add key takeaways and answers to the questions people ask next, build structured data into the pages Vannor hosts, and link each page into its topic cluster.

[01] How the engine works

What AI answers look for.

answer → evidence → structure → depth
Step 01

Answer first

The opening lines answer the search directly, in plain words, before any background. That is the passage an AI answer can lift.

Step 02

Facts you can check

Claims are checked against your facts sheet and, on regulated or platform topics, against official sources. Unsupported numbers are rewritten, or the draft is held.

Step 03

Structure machines read

Key takeaways, question-and-answer sections and clean headings, plus Article and FAQ structured data on the pages Vannor builds and hosts.

Step 04

Depth on the topic

Research starts from the questions people actually ask. Articles are grouped into topic clusters and linked to each other, so your site covers a subject, not one keyword.

[02] What you get

Built into every article, not added later.

Every articleAn answer-first opening and key takeaways are part of how articles are written, with a question-and-answer section where the topic calls for one.
Indexed quicklyNew pages are submitted to Google and announced through IndexNow when they publish, and sitemaps are resubmitted.
Search Console resultsImpressions, clicks and average position per article from your own Search Console, so you can see what is working.
Your approvalSign-off or Autopilot, chosen per site, like every Vannor engine. Nothing you sign off is rewritten afterwards.

What is generative engine optimization?

Generative engine optimization (GEO) means shaping your content so AI-generated answers, such as Google's AI Overviews, use and cite it. It builds on SEO: AI answers draw on pages search engines already trust, so a direct answer, checkable facts, clear structure and depth on the topic matter for both.

How is GEO different from SEO?

GEO is SEO with a sharper focus on being quotable. Google's guidance for its AI features is to keep following SEO best practices; there is no special markup that puts a page into AI Overviews. The difference is in the writing: answer first, one idea per section, facts a reader can verify.

Can you guarantee we appear in AI Overviews?

No one can. Google decides which pages an AI answer cites, and it changes often. What we control is the page itself: a direct answer, checked facts, clear structure and depth on the topic.

Do you report on AI Overview appearances?

Not as a separate report today. You see each article's Google impressions, clicks and average position from your Search Console data.

Does it work with my website?

Articles publish to WordPress, and Shopify and Wix blogs are supported too, confirmed during setup. Structured data is added on the pages Vannor builds and hosts; on your own CMS, the takeaways and FAQ are part of the article itself.
